The world-famous and unique Taj Mahal, the magnificent tomb of Humayun, and the mighty Mughal Fort of Agra tell stories of legendary women and their moving destinies. But modern India also has much to share.
On this journey, you will discover the classic highlights of Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Udaipur, and Mumbai (Bombay). You will go on safari in Ranthambore National Park and enjoy a boat ride on picturesque Lake Pichola. Over an elegant High Tea, you will meet Indian women and exchange views on Indian and European ways of life. At a noble residence, you will not only peek into the cooking pots but also into the lives of modern Indian women.
Let yourself be enchanted by the colors and scents of the markets, join in the vibrant Holi festival, visit sari weavers, observe traditional crafts, stroll through exclusive fashion boutiques, and dance and laugh at a lively Bollywood dance workshop!
You will be accommodated in selected **** hotels – sometimes elegant and individual, sometimes classic and modern. Meals will be served in carefully chosen restaurants – often charming, distinctive, and authentic.
